Storage in Transit
When the new place is not ready, your shipment goes into sealed wood vaults — not loose on a warehouse floor.
Closing dates slip. Rather than paying for a second full move, your inventory is loaded into sealed vaults at our warehouse, stored under the same bill of lading, and released to the delivery crew when you give the word.
What's included
- Sealed wooden vaults, one household per vault set
- Climate-controlled, sprinklered, alarm-monitored warehouse
- First 30 days of storage included on most long distance moves
- Inventory remains on the original bill of lading
- Partial release available if you need specific items early
- Direct delivery to the residence when you are ready
Storage in transit is a regulated service under your bill of lading and is different from renting a self-storage unit.
