Our founder spent six years dispatching for a national van line and watched the same thing happen every week: a customer booked with one company and a truck arrived from another.

That model is still how most long distance moves are sold in this country. A broker takes your deposit, posts the load to a board, and whichever carrier bids lowest shows up at your door. Nobody in that chain is accountable for the outcome, and the price is negotiable right up until your belongings are hostage on a trailer.

We built EZ Moving Group as the opposite of that. Every shipment moves under our own licensed and insured authority. Every crew is on our payroll and background-checked. Every estimate is binding, built from a real inventory, and verified by certified scale tickets. When something goes wrong — and on nine thousand moves, occasionally it does — there is one company to call and one person who owns it.

Today we operate terminals in Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, and Sacramento, serve all 48 contiguous states, and still turn down work we cannot crew properly. That is why our calendar closes early in June and July, and why we would rather tell you no than sell you a date we cannot keep.
