Packing & Crating
Professional materials and technique for the things that do not survive a long haul in a supermarket box.
Damage on long moves almost always traces back to packing, not driving. Our crews pack with dish barrels, double-wall cartons, and paper — and we build custom wooden crates on site for artwork, stone tops, and anything that cannot be replaced.
What's included
- Full-service packing of the entire home, or fragile-only
- Custom-built wooden crates for art, mirrors, marble, and instruments
- Dish barrels, wardrobe cartons, and mattress cases included
- Electronics packed in original boxes when available, cartoned when not
- Room-by-room labeling that matches the destination floor plan
- Optional unpacking and carton removal at destination
Owner-packed cartons can only be claimed for damage if there is visible external damage to the box. We are candid about that before you decide.
How it runs

Materials drop
Cartons and paper delivered ahead of the pack date if you are self-packing part of it.

Pack day
One to two days before loading, depending on the size of the home.

Crating
High-value pieces are measured and crated on site, not wrapped and hoped for.

Inventory
Every carton is tagged and logged by room and contents category.

Unpack
Optional flat-surface unpack and same-day debris haul-away.
